Efficient irrigation is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3! Just follow these three easy steps for each zone of your irrigation system, starting with zone 1.
- Select the main plant type from the list provided.
- Select the type of sprinkler head used from the list provided.
- Select how frequently you want to water.
Once you've entered this information for each zone, the Run-Time Scheduler will create an irrigation schedule for your specific landscape and sprinkler system.

Advanced Users: The basic Run-Time Scheduler allows you to choose from several common types of landscape planting materials. It uses historical evapotranspiration (ET) rates for the Denver metro area, and average application rates for the most common types of sprinkler heads. If you'd like to tailor your schedule to more precisely match your area, your landscape or your irrigation system, just look for the Advanced User section on each page.
